Yeah man I know how you feel. Papers suck a lot of ass. I have one more paper for the entire year in only one class, but it is still gonna suck when I actually sit down and do it.

ha. i'm in the same boat. i have to analyze photography used in introductory anthropology text for my visual anthropology class. i'll probably be up until at least 4 or 5. at least its my only class tomorrow and i never care how tired i am if i turn in a good paper. i just put on some good jazz, drink some manly diet soda and bust ass all over my keyboard.

yeah man, its actually kinda cool to go into school the next day without sleepin at all. youre all hopped up on caffeine and shit, and as long as you finish the paper its all good.

well it's 6:12 nf time now and im still up doing a take home exam. first and second year university are like night and day. this yeah has been sick. sooo many all nighters.

 
its all about taking the right breaks at the right time. i just wasted 30 minutes making the bombest blue cheese chicken salad ever. hit up ns for 5 minutes and then its back to the paper.

i go for food every 20 min or so. hit up ns every 30 and i took a shower a little while ago. now im down to 1 out of 5 1000word questions till im done. thank fuck

 
i gt about 3 more pages to write in 3 hours, i should be fine. I got focus issues though, I write two sentences and then i rest for 5 minutes.

i have the same thing. it takes me about 5 hours to write 2 pages. not exagerating. although i find it helps bigtime to make a good layout of my headings and points on some scrap paper. helps the flow

 
some people can bang shit out in no time. for me its definately not like that, it takes me forever to write a paper. both because i'm such a fucking procrastinator and a horribly inefficient worker, but also because i comb through what i've written over and over again as i'm working.

I do my best work late at night and in the early mornings. Less distractions and there is nothing on tv. I was up till 4am last night studying and have a meeting with a job recruiter at 8:30am today. I'm a little dogged but I just take a 30 minute nap this afternoon and i'm good to go.

 
2 hours until class starts. i have some final editing to do and 4 paragraphs more to do for a footnotish add on thingy. i think i might actually bang this thing out farily decently. i think theres one can left of my six pack de diet soda. its 7am, why not crack the fucker open.

my life in a nutshell

i never do papers ahead of time...always the last minute

ive had two papers get extensions on them, and i know i wont use that to my advantage

somehow i work better under pressure i think

but it definitely sucks when youre frantically trying to get it done

 
i definitely work so much better under pressure. but, really, who doesn't?

and i've had it so easy this semester, only 2 essays. science is grrreat.

 
oh man don't talk to me about lack of sleep dude. engineering reports? they will actually kill you. i just had 3 exams in 4 days too... and there was no sleeping being done by any of us. it was pretty funny too, because you see all the artsy people walking around for their exams... the look nice, awake, maybe kinda nervous, well dressed, and prepared... they get out of their exam like an hour early... it's just to perfect to be true. you look at the engineers on the other hand, and they're eyes are bloodshot, they look exausted, wearing pijamas or just sweatpants or something... and every single one needs the full amount of exam time to complete. it's ridiculous.

most engineering and business faculties have kindof a little rivalry. I almost did engineering out of high school but changed my mind before going to university and took commerce instead. most engineering students think they have twice as much work as everyone else. i think its bs.i almost wish i had taken engineering now instead. i had a fucking ridiculas ammount of work to do this year for school. I also had to take a course overload (1 over a full load) because its required for the weeding out process in the commerce program. for anyone thinking of going into it and think that business is easy, just remember theres a sick amount of work with it. I can handle long study sessions like most of the engineering students pull off, but when you have to type 20,000 words worth of reports for several courses it gets ridiculas. yeah theres my rant

 
I have to write 5 pages in spanish by the end of this week. chances are I'll just put it off till 11 sunday night, and stay up till I have to go to school. But I still won't get it done, so I'll fake sick and sleep all day

its 10:30 PM here and i have just finished a pretty shitty paper that is late. I have another paper that is due tomorrow, but that to will be getting handed in late, but only by one day.
