Ithaca College and Scranton University

I was just wondering if anyone is/has gone to either of these schools. I've narrowed my selections down to these two schools and I can't make a desicion. They both fit me really well. I got a 5k scholarship to Scranton, and it's 4k cheaper than Ithaca, so that definetly plays into the desicion. Also, both have skiing, but Scranton's is definetly better.

I live in Ithaca, and here's a quick few things I'll mention:

I'm pretty sure you'd like Ithaca as a town way better than Scranton. Ithaca is IMO perhaps one of the nicest towns in the country. However, the skiing around here is mediocre at best. Greek Peak is the closest hill, about 25 minutes away, but it's pretty shit. Labrador and Toggenburg are both about an hour, and they're smaller but have far nicer parks. Greek Peak is pretty sweet if you like rails though.

I've visited both schools, and Ithaca has a nicer town. Scranton ain't bad either though. Both of these schools are so equal for me. They are both A's. I just need to find the A+

my friend goes to scranton and im going to visit her the first weekend in may so i will report back... unless you need to decide before that?

I'm gonna make a desicion within the next two weeks. Can you ask her how she likes and and what she doesn't like? You'd be a friend forever!

If I went to school in Scranton I would eat an Awesome Blossom evey god dam day.... Chili's is the new golf course. It's where business happens. Small Businessman Magazine.

sounds to me like scranton is what you really want however i have a close friend at ithaca and i looked there for applying. She really loves it there.

I'm from NEPA so I have a bunch of friends that go to Scranton and love it. its pretty small, and scranton's not the greatest/craziest city in the world, but I've partied there a bunch over the years and always have a really fun time. Also, haven't been to any of the mountains around there this year but there's definitely a bunch of options, Sno is like 5 minutes away and then there's Big Boulder, Camelback, Elk.... buuuut Ithaca is a dope town too, so good luck with your decision!

dude, i live near scranton, and i'd go there.

really nice campus right in town. a lot of stuff to do.

you're right next to sno mtn, and 20 min from big boulder.

idk about ithica, but the U is mad nice.

one of my best friends goes to ithaca and he's the fucking man... maybe if you go to ithaca you'll be the fucking man.

on a more serious note he's told me that he loves the school and ithaca is a good place to be for a college student, its also a pretty good school academically. I dont know anything about scranton but that in itself might tell you whats the better school. It really comes down to where you can see yourself living for the next 4 years, you want to go to the school that feels like you could call home (because you will, just wait).

I know a whole bunch of kids that go to Ithaca, none of them have any complaints and all love it. I dont know much about scranton however.

i'm going to ithaca looks like a real dope school unfortunately i won't be skiing because most of my time will be spent with baseball, but for ithaca go to either togg or lab both have nice parks but lab stepped it up this year and made the best tables they've ever made the guy who cut them was on the park crew at mammoth they they have a real similar look and feel but not quite the size as some

Ithaca has a beautiful town, with a very young college age fun mood

you should do more research, and don't listen to others opinions just their info
