i dunno how if any ppl here have read it (its fucking huge) but its one of the craziest books ive ever read. i highly recomend it to those patient enough to read books w/ 1000+ pages and w/out pictures. stephen king is a twisted man, but he writes some good shit. and dont reply to this talking about the movie, the movie was horse shit compared to the book

Out here (in the west) where most styles are created, everyone these days is rockin the one shoulder backpack. You get yourself a tight pack like a Dakine or some random skate pack, and just drape that shiz over your right shoulder. That means when you are jibbin the park, you gotta do all your grabs opposite, with your left hand. Otherwise the pack will fall off your right shoulder and all the girls will gasp and think you have no steeze. Another thing to do with the pack has to do with when you are on a rail. Once you are securely on the rail, just let the pack slide off your shoulder and just hang that thing off your arm. This lets everyone know that you really don't care you are on the rail at all, thus making your steeze that much better. Plus when you 270 off, the pack whips around and takes out any gapers trying to snap pics of your fly ass.

Most everyone pays tribute to the creater of this style by rockin 'the kevin' almost every day. So if you see someone with mad 'the kevin' style, don't hesitate to go up to them and say 'Dude, your 'the kevin' steeze is so tight I think I am gonna go home and punch my mom in the face.' That will let the person know they are indeed cool, and that you will be rocking 'the kevin' steeze sometime soon.

yah one of the best stephen king books. i liked the stand the best though.

I completely agree. I couldn't put down The Stand, but It was good too. Try reading The Long Walk - it is one messed up book - even for Steven King. Remember the turtle.

Hippies - they want to save the world, but all they do is smoke pot and smell bad.

Pabst Blue Ribbon is the greatest beer ever.

^Do you know what the turtle is an allusion to? It has to do with the Dark Tower series. In my opinion, even though The Stand, IT, The Shining, were all good books, Stephen King doesnt write anywhere near his full potential except for the Dark Tower series. It's amazing, and i dont like fantasy/scifi at all.

i read the dark towers books, and i loved em, but for some reason, IT just keeps falling of my desk onto the floor where i see it and have to read it again. the stand was also bitchin, and the talisman rocked too. i never fully got the turtle, i had made a half assed association w/ it from like the first couple pages when georgie went into the basement to get the stuff for the boat. he picks up a can of turtle wax and looks at it for like 30 seconds. i though the turtle might be some sort of connection b/w george (first incident; kill) and the rest of all the shit that went down til the end....

i liked carrie and shining... maybe ill pick up IT sometime

Lately it occurs to me... what a long strange trip its been....

^Pick up IT or the Shining, but you need to be prepared to read 1100 pages. They are really, really easy books to read, but still, they can be long.

Yea, I liked IT more then Carrie. But the movie of IT wasn't as good as the book. I'm reading The Stand right now though, awesome book.

hmmmmm.....i've read most of his books but for some reason i've never read a page in any of the dark tower series. eye of the dragon was killer though, even if it wasn't traditional king. anybody read bag of bones? that one was interesting

Bag of Bones was crazy. I'm not sure I understood all of it though because at times the story at face value didn't quite make sense. Good book though.
