It is March...

i was just tossing and turning in bed because it hit me.. march is here.. the shred days are counting down even though it feels like mid season. im a very happy person but this is just so disappointing. shred on my friends

Very disappointing indeed. I did some amazing skiing over break, but the rest of the season has consisted of 3 days in CO and 3 days at Mtn. High. Nothing compared to how many days I got last year.

However, I'm leaving for Whistler tomorrow and it is my birthday on the 2nd so I can't complain

Midwest what?

just because our season ends before yours makes us fags?

I think its more like this

but to the op, march is upon us... spring skiing and mustaches

Some of the best pow is in march, followed by some of the most righteous spring park and jib sessions ever. Something about shredding slush in warm weather, doing wormturns and polish doughnuts, jumping over exposed rocks and shrubs, and learning stuff consequence free is just so much fun.
So fuck yeah it's march!

I love the skiing conditions (for park) that come with spring weather, but lament the fact that in Ohio our season gets cut so short. With warmer weather comes rain when everyone else gets snow. It's sad :(

i just hope that there's still enough snow to hike in may so that i can get 6 months in. how awesome would a 6 month ski season be?

Oh lawd. its been raining here in upstate new york for the past two weeks and we have almost no snow cover. needless to say i hate living here

still plenty of snow in maine! march is always one of my favorite ski months! just sad its slowly coming to an end

Just means it's that much closer to Hood time!!!!

which is basically my whole season this year.... so im pumped on march! haha

it's 50 today and higher tomorrow. it's raining on and off during the week. we're doomed. unless we get a freak march snowstorm.

im still waiting for my first good powder this year, the alps in general are having a really bad winter and the times it did snow, i was always on the other side of the alps, FML .....
however, next week seems to be better, hopefully my first good powder this year !!
yeeehaaawww!

Got a week plus assorted bonus days, but I'm heading to Mammoth for a week and a half so it's not all that bad.

realized the same thing the other night!!

it seems as feb is mid season, but then u think about it and u have 1 month of snow left! (at the mountain)

this season feels to have gone by sooo quick, i feel like im going to blink and the seasons going to be over!

hopefully i will build a summer setup tho!

Are you in MI? If not, we're in the same boat. Suppossed to rain all weekend, and it's getting way too warm. My Dad keeps getting excited and telling me about how all the snow is going to be gone.......makes me quite sad.

I get hurt every season somehow in february and shredding in march is always my favorite thing in the word. Its so warm, spring slush, everyone throws down, happy vibe, just the best time of the year. i feel blessed when my injurys heal and i can ski those few precious days in march/april

yep.... in NH i got like a month and a half left but spring is the best time to shred. warm temps. soft snow. new tricks. sunny days. no jackets. no facemask. great time with friends. cant be beat

Coldest 1st day of March in 90 years out here in Regina. Around -25c and around -40c with the windchill. Didn't make it out to the mountains this year and only got a few days at the crappy little hill 45 minutes aways. Definitely not the best season ever...

who the fuck cares. it snowed in the city a foot yesterday and all i've gotta look forward to is ill biking. so really, ski season could end. i don't care.

my mountain has already decided to pretty much take down the park. no slushy park for me! i get to shred sugarloaf this weekend though and they got 2 feet of snow last weekend. should be fun

So glad I snow blowed all my snow into one huge pile every time it snowed. CT has nooo snow left after all the rain, but I have just enough for a sesh in the backyard.

same it feels like last week i was begging my parents to let me ski opening day and now its almost time to beg them for a summer sesh and a camp week at whaleback haha

you guys think you have it bad. all my local mountains close this weekend. can you imagine how depressing it is knowing that after this weekend i cant ski until next december? and this is my lowest day count with very little progression. saddening :(..........

My hill opened Dec 10 and is closing this sunday. So they were open a total of 95 days. I made it up for what will be 80 of those days plus 4 at Mount Snow. So 84 days this season not a bad season, but definitely to short

no one cares...

On another note, I feel like we will still have some great skiing in the east considering Stowe and Sugarbush just got 28 inches a few days ago.
