It is 9/11 today, and i didn't hear one damn thing about it in school.

nothing at my school either.
nobody even mentioned it was 9/11AND WAHT THE FUCK WHY DO I KEEP HEARING THIS RANDOM BEEP NOISE IN MY ROOM I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO

i dont mean to ruin your moment, but the states has way to vicious of a history for there to be a moment of silence for an attack that happened 7 years ago (imo). The U.S pretty much has its roots in their ancestor massacuring whole tribes of ntive north americans. There is no moment of silence for them. there is no moment of silence of all the damage the U.S has done. Sure they attacked western civilization, but thin about it. western civilization has done a lot worse to some other countries.

Dont get me wrong it was a horrible attack and the victims should be remembered but i dont think that this event should be different than any other terrorist attack.

that is one of the most ignorant things i have ever read in my life. yeah America was a douche and fucked up the natives but what did those 300 people who died have to do with that? last i checked they werent alive when all that happened. they were hardworking Americans who were working to support their families. and if your from canada shut the hell up. no one wants to hear what you have to say aboooot it so take your maple syrup and go to a different thread.

We had a candle light formation with a 21 gun salute. It was raining (not good for the candles) and cold as hell, but it was worth every second.

i live in Brooklyn so its a pretty big deal at my school, we had an all school assembly outside to commemorate all who were lost in it. i think its ridiculous that some schools dont even speak a word about it. no matter where in the USA ur from i think that its effects can be felt and it should be recognized

those are the worst clips, i also so one of the firemen talking and they can hear the bodies hitting the roof above them from people jumping, its brutal

i'm pretty sure it's more like a dozen, but either way, i'm just trying to see how 3 dead people are worth less than 2752 dead people. besides, the point i was trying to make in my original post was that if you want to pay respect to those who died, nobody should have to mention it to you, or try to make you, you should just do it.

9/11 was just more devastating to a lot more people and also a lot more memorable.

but other than that, i guess i can see where your coming from. But i do think its ridiculous that some of these schools wouldn't even take the time for a short moment of silence for the people whos lives were taken.

I can understand a moment of silence for the people lost in the world wars, because there are MILLIONS but i just cant understand a moment of silence for 3000 people. Just remember them in your hearts, thats all you can do.
