It could...happen to any one of you.

i agree helmets aren't that cool
my shots would look way more badass if i wasn't wearing one but ive already broken a couple and its saved me the last three days hitting urban. i'd have fucked my head up a long time ago if i hadnt been wearing a helmet. its a personal choice but my helmet's saved me enough times that I realize that its in my best interest to wear one

Holy + vibes man!! I have always worn a helmet and cant see myself without one. I just got the Smith CR Tribute maze to replace my old poc.

seriously. look around a mountain, there are more people wearing helmets these days than people that don't. +vibes to danny, recover quickly.

I'm so sorry to hear this tragic news! These tragic accidents are happening quite frequently around Montana, Whitefish has had a few accidents with deaths. I pray for Danny, friends and family through all this....please everyone if you don't use a helmet, please take this tragedy as a sign that it can happen to anyone no matter how good you are on a pair of skis or snowboard! Helmets SAVE LIVES!!

If you guys are down, we're trying to raise money for Danny's recovery and for TBI. There is a section on www.dannyisthebomb.com labeled gear. There are stickers, those live strong bracelets (customized for Danny) and T-shirts, as well as some hats that I've been making...if you feel so inclined to support Danny through this process, Danny and his family would be sooo grateful. Thanks for the good vibes!!

+++ vibes man, my friend got a nasty concusion today and he was wearing a helmet, he smashed the back of his head on the ground so hard the back of the helmet broke off , i cant imagine what would have happened it it wasnt there

definitely wear helmets. a really good guy who i went to school with was snowboarding and hit a fence. now he is in the ICU and he has spine damage and possibly brain damage.

Mad vibes his way... i went through a similar situation with my brother a few years back. He got taken out by a snowmobile and was unconscious for a couple hours and stayed in the hospital over night because he had a brain hemorrhage. Me and him have worn helmets ever since... it was one of the scariest things ever and I wish it upon no one. Any injury that is head, neck, or back related is no joke. I am a ski patroller and I have seen people come in with helmets that are broken into pieces and I without a doubt things would have been much worse if they hadn't been wearing that helmet.

A bundle of vibes your way and to him. That absolutely is terrible.

On the note of helmets, I never leave home without one.

Keep your chin up.

This hits home for me particularly hard because I saw him shredding around Cranmore not even a week before this crash. I've talked to him a few times and he was always the most down to earth kid and super outgoing. ++++ Vibes to Danny. Good luck and I'm hoping for a speedy recovery for you.
