Nobody wants nuclear war, so no. But honestly, the future isn’t looking too bright. The smallest events can change the course of history drastically, we will feel the consequences of Trump’s presidency regardless of what people say. Atleast all the fucking sub 90 iq pieces of shit who voted for him will go down with the rest of us. Not trying to be a pessimist, but what’s happening in America is very sad.

Well Trump just declared Jerusalem the capitol of Israel. You know, the Jerusalem that Palestine and Israel have been killing for decades over. Only fuel to the fire.
Russia got fucked out of the Olympics and we are investigating them and our president's close advisors for election fraud and conspiracy. Why do you think Russia wanted Trump to be president? Because they know he is a moron and a weak leader- not something you want in a major war.
NK now has rockets that can reach D.C. and is expected to have miniaturized nuclear warheads developed by sometime next year, greatly accelerating the previously expected timeline.
Trump continues to antagonize China and North Korea as well as other European countries. He even started talking shit to Britain, straining relations; something that hasn't happened since before WWII. Germany's chancellor is losing support and won't last much longer. Iran is bad news. Syria is asking for support from Russia to prevent the US from attacking them again. Pakistan funds terrorism. Saudi Arabia just had a major restructuring and arrested some high level Princes. Tensions over territory in the East China Sea continue. Civil War in Libya. Ukraine is in conflict. India and Pakistan are basically doing the equivalent of us and NK words being exchanged. Africa is a shit show.
ISIS is still being dicks. Osama's people are still being dicks.
It really only takes one thing to set off a major war. An instance where a major country is attacked in some way shape or form by a smaller country who is supported by a larger one. For example, Russia invades Ukraine. North Korea starts violence against South Korea. India Attacks Pakistan. Israel and Palestine return to all out war. The US attacks Syria again. A plane or ship is destroyed by another country (e.g. China sinks a US vessel in the South China Sea).
Hopefully nothing happens, but the world is tense now. There's a reason they updated the doomsday clock this year...

Never once have sanctions had a significant effect on any country or military situation, North Korea or elsewhere.

Honestly if you asked me what the world will be like in even, say, 2030, I couldn't tell you. It really feels like we're at a crossroads. What I do know is that if there is another world war it is only a matter of (a short) time before nukes are used, and to a large extent. "Rules" don't tend to stick in total war.
