Is windells worth the money, will i learn stuff

You will learn tons,, if you have balls.. and on top of that you will have a fucking awesome time off the mountain especially if you skate

Word on the street is that last year you got to play airsoft with tj schiller. Thats pretty dope

yes its amazing you learn a ton

plus this year the coaches are insane

off hill is amazing and its paintball not airsoft

depends on what u put into it

u dont just go and become a better skier, u gotta work at it, try new stuff, progression doesnt just come to you

Also depends on how good you are, if you can't do 3s.... There is pretty much no point in going. As long as you can self-teach stuff safely, I would wait and then go later. If you've got 5s then it will definitely be worth it I think, I've never been but that seems logical.

^ Doesn't seem logical to me.

I think if you can SKI and want to get some freestyle skills, then there would be no better place to go than a summer camp like windells. Irrespective of how good you are in the park, the camp would be a great opportunity to get solid coaching, learn new things, refine current tricks, get advice - whether that be a 180 or a doubleflip.

As said above though, the more you are willing to push yourself, the more you will get out of it.

At High North I got way more motivation to get better when I saw that my coaches were really not that much different than me (physically) just way more experienced. I just realized that you can work up to what the pros are doing one day, and that it's not impossible it just takes very hard work and a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot of dedication. That's what makes camp worth it for me. I wish I could go this year.

The camp I've been looking forward to ALL season is most likely closed. So bummed. And it was like half the price of all these other camps.

When i went to Windells i mostly learn confidence. Yo'ure there sessioning with all the other skiers and coaches, but its a super positive atmosphere and everyone is pumping you up when you are going to try something. Obviously if your best trick is a 360, you're not going to go to camp and learn a switch 9. You need to be realistic and push your whole skiing versus just trying to learn a banger.
