i just found the sickest coat out there, its the reversible coat with green plaid and then brown, its lightly insulated but is so comfy and easy to wear, i work at a ski shop and this is how i found it, im wondering if this is a bad choice to go with since im a skier?

just like you HAVE to buy from an "indy" ski company...you cannot wear Burton at ALL -- -- unless its their 3layer AK shit, cause that is some of THE best storm gear ever made...

Fuck no it's not bad. I love Burton outerwear. I've had 3 Burton jackets over the last five years and they all kick ass. So the fuck waht if they aren't a ski company. They ski companies need to step it up and start making better stuff. And there aren't any "core" companies out there. If you think there are you're fooling yourself. Every company is out there to make money. I guarantee everyone of those "core" companies wish they weren't and were making some serious skrilla instead.

The only thing is that Burton won't be sponsoring any ski comps or events, whereas if you bought from Siver or Orage it would help the sport, but really wear whatever you want.

yeah i'm def a fan of this year's burton gear. ronin has always had sick shit aswell. wear what you like bro. that's what i've found you gotta do. that's how you meet real friends..... with anything. don't try to force shit. do what you like, and you'll meet other people with the same interests. (in this case, it's not such a big deal, but i try and pin that philosophy on everything i do)

Burton is the only gear i have bought that has lasted more than one season - i have a Ak 3layer with 150 plus days in wet sierra snow and it is still water proof...

i mostly rock the predator gear - but that is only cause their factory outlet is down the street from my cabin
