Is Virtika good?

Honestly I was a staunch FD hater since they first came out, but with this Triple L line, I'd love to give them a go. Only thing that's stopping me is the shipping costs and junk. It's just a little out of my price range at the moment.

Virtika = FD = First Drop.

The majority of past reviews have been very negative towards FD/Virtika. Quality lacked immensely in their earlier line-ups.

That being said, Dave has been spending the last few years rebranding his company. That's evident with the name change from FD to Virtika more recently.

I have not personally used the gear, but I know FD was aware of their quality flaws in earlier years and took steps to make their product better - including switching suppliers/factories.

I wouldn't be hesitant buying their new product. I know a lot of people think more highly of them these days. Again, this is not a first hand review.

i feel the same way. i just bought the v4 pants. they are big, but i like my outerwear baggy. i havent had a chance to use them but they seem high quality. the pant cuffs are heavily reinforced (to reduce cutting them with your ski edges) and they have good insulation and a nice and waterproof! get yourself some! youll like them.

I have (maybe the second? or third?) first drop jacket, the one with two zippers on the back, and liked it. I never ripped it or anything and liked the vest option which I still use it for. However, the zippers on that jacket sucked so much.

Last year I got the black triple L and have no complaints at all other than the fact that I was shipped pants instead of a jacket but I let them know and the overnighted a jacket for me to have the next day.

Their street wear is sick too. I usually throw on one of their crew necks or a thermal and its warmer than my jacket. Never felt like dropping $170+ on an FD jacket when you can get a sweatshirt and a T for way less.

Thanks for all the help i think im going to get the V4 jacket. im going to get virtika apparel instead of saga for now on.

We think you'll be stoked on your decision! The V4 jackets are great. If you want something super waterproof/breathable spend the extra bucks on a Triple L or Signature jacket with 3L fabric and a higher waterproof rating. We look forward to your order!

Super warm, pockets are massive, comfortable, strong. Be warned of how baggy stuff is though. I'd go one or two sizes down from what you normally wear.

As you can see from this video they are very professional.

Have had experience with their Jackets, Pants, tall T's, and beanies and have not had a single quality issue and I love the fit/warmth.

10/10

Also if your'e tall than Virtika is for you
