Is this the first year candid thovax is in the x games??

Candide's been in the X Games every year since 1999. I think he missed 04 because of his knee.
 
check pull up. really sick movie. but you gotta looove candide. if not you will really hate it. anyway, its all his skiing since the first day he was filmed. this guy has always owned in skiing
 
last year candide was going even higher out of the pipe then simon but he would keep his height like he won be still freakishly high on the 3rd hit. but he got hurt yet again.
 
any one catch the candide invitational.. the step up contest?

hes been in the x-games since the jonny moseley days where it was a one hit wonder.. riding dynstar 4x4twins.. first ones.. throwing lincolns and landing switch before anyone.
 
yeah last year he was out cuz of his knee almost the whole year and then decided to still do the x games. But in practice he hurt it again and didnt compete. But yeah, if it weren't for candide and CR in 03'(or whenever) theres a good chance there wouldnt even be pipe skiing in the xgames anymore. The year before that was just plain embarrassing and no one thought it would last. But they definetely showed everyone that skiers can throw down.

He won back in like 1999 i think with the d spin 9 in the big air

got gold 2nd year of skiing pipe when he and cr were going head to head till cr went like 28 feet and landed on the deck
 
at the time he had the biggest pipe airs on record. He was also going higher than any of the snowboarders competing. Of course now Simon Dumont is going 5 feet higher than that but still it's crazy like 18 feet out
