Palmer P04 Big Mountain Rockered Twin Tip Skis

132-95-124mm

8.25lbs

turn radius: 19.4m

I need skis that will keep up to my friends in deep powder, My friends use K2 Hellbents and Surface one life skis. we do not too much back-country, just in-resort stuff, we do a lot of hikes too. Mostly hucking cliffs, looking for big drops, Steep and deep. sometimes trees... No groomers or moguls. thanks!

well considering the ski you are looking at is 95mm at the waist and hellbents are 130-132mm, there is obviously a big difference. if you want an all pow ski, ill recommend the Hellbent, I loved them in Utah pow this winter, but they arent the most versatile fat pow ski by far.

Im guessing these Palmer whatevers 04 are a stiff ski with the "big mountain" name, which all comes down to preference on what type of ski you want.

PS where do you ski, that makes a difference in ski choice too

i would stay away from it, its a no name brand and if you want a pow ski i would go with a larger waist size. like 110 or bigger.

There are so many good pow skis on the market, that I would aviod taking a shot in the dark on a pair of skis that first off aren't really pow skis, and secondly not many people know about. Wat is ur height and weightm and what type of flex pattern do you like out of a ski? Also what type of camber profiles are u considering, ie; tip and tail rocker with camber under foot, tip rocker only with twin tail, tip rocker with flat tail, tip and tail rocker with flat camber underfoot? If u don't know ur favorite type of turn, and a realistic assesment og what typ of terrain you prefer to ski will suffice

Haha how did you come up with this based on the info he provided? I'm assuming this kid probably doesn't need this stiff and aggressive of a ski based on the fact that he is asking NS for recommendations on a ski that will keep up with his friends.

"mostly hucking cliffs, looking for big airs". Sure there are plenty other skis that would work well too, but based off the small amount of info given the renegades would work well.
