Is this rodeo 5 or flat 5 just wandering so i can clear things up

it's borderline rodeo, but just a bit more flat spin.

a rodeo is more spinning a bit more upside down, flat spin is less spin a more flip on yer side. u understand?

Hmm. I guess in a few frame you cant really tell but it's pretty close.

I'm really over this discussion. I think I'm just gonna start calling my shit "spinny flippers". OR "flippy spinners". End o' story.

i know wat a rodeo and flat spins look like this was just so borderline i wanted to ask people what they think and i got what i expected 50%rodeo and about 50%flatspin i think they should (whoever "they" is, possibly the newschool community)should refer to flatspins in the pipe and rodeo in the park or off jumps so theres no confusion

They really aren't the same trick though, it just can get fuzzy if it's a really flat rodeo or a little inverted flatspin.

They should just ditch names to tricks because everybody fucks em up anyways.

Rodeo's are done fully inverted, and Flatspins aer essentially the same trick, save that the rider does not get 100% inverted (feet directly above head). That said, yes, the line between them is very blurry, especially with a 540 rotation (7's are somewhat easier to tell). I would call what you did a flatspin, as you were close to complete inversion, but not all the way there. As for turning your flatspins into true rodeo's, try and drop your arm/side more when you take off. Dont lean back with your back like you would in a backflip, that causes the flat rotation.
