Is this rodeo 5 or flat 5 just wandering so i can clear things up

yeah i no but i think i asked if that was rodeo 5 or flat 5 not trying to be a dick just want my question clarified

oh boy, people are saying textbook flat 5, but im seein nothing but rodeo!~ look at the loop to 180 action, its pretty damn rodeo. flat you spin more on your side.

honestly hard to tell, when you're not on snow, or on snow but not going very big, there's always an undefinable trick that hovers somewhere between a flat 5, a rodeo 5 and a lincoln 180. I gotta go with rodeo on this one, it's just a touch too inverted to be flat. at any rate, pretty sick, bring it to the snow!

It has nothing to do with the first 180, it's all about the rotation pattern, inverted or not.

If you think that inverted is hips over head(which is the standard definition), that is a rodeo, as you can see as the persons feet are pointed back at the jump, the hips are slightly over the head and the feet are pointed to the sky.

In a flatspin, the hips and head are level, and the feet are pointed directly back.

To throw this trick flatter, don't do such a backflip-ish rotation, take that right shoulder and bring it more forward so you are facing the sky.

There is such a fine line between rodeos and flatspins, that it doesn't matter. no trick names matter. in the end it's all just spinny flippy things. call it whatever you want.

u used to go there decker? i saw brody up there a few times and this kid named dane from michigan

unidentifiable trick. if you slow it down and watch it, it starts off like he is going to do a flat 3, which is thrown a little bit differently than a flat 5 which is also thrown differently than a flat 7. if i had to name the trick, its an overrotated flatspin 3, but in the battle between rodeo 5, and flat 5, it is closer to a rodeo 5

i say flat. ive always thought of flats more as a "bio flip" watch one of i think its doug's vids to see some sick flats off the HN kicker like 2 years ago. that looked flatspin to me

it looks like a rodeo....and where is this water ramp...i sent you a PM but i dont really quite understand...how far from columbus?

i can pause it were your feet are directly over your head so it's not flat.

but it doesn't look like a typical rodeo and it for sure isn't a lincoln 180.

so i'm with the "it's a 540 and it looks rad so rock it" lot.

thats a rodeo. no doubt. flat 5 is just a term used to discribe a rodeo in the half pipe. flat 5 and rodeo are the same off of a jump. thats my understanding
