Is this rail skiable?

In the winter, obviously. It's on a moderate slope (not sure if easily seeable)

How do you want to hit it? If I were you I would find another spot, I mean you can find a flat/slight down handrail anywhere look for a better one that doesn't end in a school or wall.

I was thinking of making some sort of a drop in at the top - and not hit the whole rail. My town does not have good urban so this is some of the best i'm working with. Although, I should still look around

just tie a banshee bungee to it and hit it going towards the school and when u get to the end catch some tranny on the wall. thats how id do it.

HA I unfortunately live in Rochester, where it's the flattest in MN... Duluth and the Twin Cities have better stuff but I happen to live in the midwestiest part of MN. I do have this crazy down rail at my high school but that thing is nutz

I gotcha get a bungee? I got a 10 ft and it's decent when you wax your skis, not enough speed to hit big up rails and stuff but good enough for backyard/flat or down urban rails or little jumps. It's also great for long boarding if you are into that. They also offer a 20ft bungee for a lot more $.

or build a snow tranny at the top of the rail and go and hit the other rail the other way after I leave the first, but that might be a bit tight

this tie a bungee to the rail to the right and set up a jump just before the rail on the left, hit leftside rail and tranny into the wall

i guess but you should put a little more searchin effort in and find a better one

or build some tranny aginst the wall so u can jump off land on the wall and tranny down know wat im sayinn

Bungee on the side and gap over the two doing like a rodeo or some shit. You don't always have to grind a rail, but you do always have to think outside the box.

go from left of the picture to right of the picture and hit both of them. hit the one on the left like a spine and maybe have enough time to hit the rail on the right side and going off the end of it.

trust me people, rochester isn't great for urban, only if i'm willing to do some crazy shit. there's this tall down rail at a high school, and this other sketchy ass rail at a college... can't really find any others with better space than this

you just have to look a little harder, man. I just moved back to Rochester & have a little list going for shit to hit this winter... I'll throw some pictures up

It really doesnt look worth it in my opinion. Unless you want to setup some type of super-creative-tranny-finding real ski fi shit. I would look for other options in town or go on a road trip, or just build your own rail.

From my frustrating experiences with street rails ive leaned one thing: if it doesnt look like its worth the time you put in to prep it, dont bother. yes that rail is skiable but i'd find something better. my $.02

You really had to make a fucking thread to figure this out? Do you have an extra chromosome? If you've ever skied before, you can probably figure out for yourself what you can and cannot hit on skis.

fuck off. seriously, that was completely unnecessary. I was mostly asking for input on different ways to hit it. i'm not even this mean, you're just a complete chode. IF YOU DON'T WANT TO READ IT DON'T CLICK IT you fucking retard

doesn't have to be a total horse penis about it. i reiterate, i want other input. I'm not that much of a dumbass where I don't know how to hit a rail. Of course I see how. I'm just throwing ideas around, and that dumb bitch woulda known if he read the thread.

get a wench or bungee and then slide the rail and build a little QP on the door and then a jump about 1/3 the way down so you get 2 hits on the rail and it would look hella dope

there's an even better video of Steele Spence hitting a rail inside his high school on skis. I'll try to find it, it was in a n MSP video I'm pretty sure.
