You mean the white thing? Its hard to see, it looks like camera glare. I thought you meant the black vertical stripes at first...

most likley just a blemish in the ressin when the ski was being molded...could of been from a change of heat or a chemical reaction...i dont THINK it should cause any damage down the road but if i were u i would bring them to a local ski shop and get it checked out...dont want to have ti snap and now done anything about it ya know??? but i dont think it is anything serious...i am almost 95% sur it is the ressin though,

just thought of something...could be an air pocket or a spot where air was exposed for an extended period of time, making the ressin turn white...could be simple as a discoloration in the topsheet...pm me with details and i will try and diagnose the problem a little more.

i dont see how that would cause a problem, personally i wouldnt care too much about it. see if you can return it if youre really concerned.

Don't worry about it, Mine have small hole (like 2mm) that you can see right through the base with. It's kinda cool, but kinda scary because it's right in the middle of the ski.

that is not good. at all. if they came like that, you got screwed over. yet if you did it...no biggy. your gonna be skiing on them when they break.

It's not an actual hole, it's filled with whatever the ski is made of, it's just a tiny hole where there's no core.

looks like

A) Something white got stuck to the fibreglass when the ski was layed up

B) The core had a big triangle chunk missing, then it filled with epoxy when the ski was pressed, which would mean a hard brittle spot in the ski. don't know if it would really matter since thats right where your binding will be if you're smart and mount it near center.
