it depends where this storm is coming from... if it's a pineapple express sorta storm it's track will be from hawaii to the northwest/whistler. if it's just a large low pressure, then it might effect the west coast, but given the tracks of many patterns this winter it will most likely head north, or split and go north/south. if the previous storms have scoured out the high pressure over the west, then hey, we might get a somewhat decent storm... saying all that, the storm last wednesday dumped 14 inches of 2% moisture content fluff when the weather boys were saying only a trace was possible
