Is this good for age 14?

Whats up guys I was just wondering how I stack up to the other 14-15 year olds out there.

Heres my season edit:

Thanks for the input!

Don't age claim. If anything just say "How's my progression, I've been skiing for _____ years". You phrased the thread as if it's rare to be a 14 year old on this site, when the majority of people on this site are probably 13-16...

Don't post shit like this and stop with the age claims, ski for fun and if you get good like that sweet, if not, then you had fun!

Get some longer skis, keep the poles. Nobody likes watching a sketchy skier without poles, it makes your arm movements so much more pronounced.

You are good for your age, but there are always going to be kids out there with better style and a bigger bag of tricks. If you keep progressing, I could see you getting some help from a local shop or something. Stay in school

You're good, but this guy is 14 and has got most rail tricks out there, 810's out, 630's on, Dub 12, Dub Flat, Sw 10, Sw 12 and pulls it with way more style. And he's not on here asking if he's good. Watch his other stuff and you'll see he's consistent in pow, park and urban and he's 6ft already so it's even harder for him to pull off this shit. Ski for fun dude, there's others out there who are twice as good as Alex at 15.

Haha, I thought that pipe looked like Tryvann, then I watched from the start and realized that it looks like Tryvann because it is Tryvann.

With this attitude I'm gonna have to go ahead and say you're doing it wrong. Chill out, have fun, you'll get there.

Why do people feel the need to be the warden of threads? These forums are created to allow people to post absolutely anything they want to discuss with someone else. Nothing is owed to you for being a member and having access to reading them. Theres no rule that says what is allowed to be posted or not.

you look to have a decent base now just keep on it and clean it up.

Alright you got me there. Probably not in this thread but I'm sure there are threads where such content is more than welcome.

It's sad to see so many young skiers so concerned about these things. That was some good skiing, but I'd rather see "check out my edit" than "is this good for age _?"

and people have decided to be disgusted by the age claim. I dont think the people above were serious about banning kids for age claiming, thats silly. Ima come on newschoolers, ima read threads on newschoolers, ima be a fan boy on newschoolers, and ima hate on newschoolers. DATS LIFE

Along those same lines I'm 25 and have had two acl reconstructions in as many years. Am I any good. https://www.newschoolers.com/membervideo/466784.0/A-Solid-Seven?s=35879&t=6&o=8

OP I'm 15 and i'm at about the same level as you if not a little bit better/worse in certain aspects.

Honestly I wouldn't even care about the actual tricks i could do if i could just have the coordination older riders do. even when their styles are "bad" theyre still better than any 13-15 year old.

"Why do people feel the need to be the warden of threads?"

"Theres no rule that says what is allowed to be posted or not."

....

theres a video section for videos also. videos dont need to be posted in the forum section unless its something that can be talked about other than the purpose of claiming.

op no one gives a fuck about your video or the fact that youre 14. If your video is fire, put it in the video section and we'll all see it when it makes it to the top of the front page.

this is also a signature on the petition to make age claims a bannable offense

oh I also forgot to mention that if you plan on claiming your vid you should at least hit preview and make sure the video embeds. did not watch

I can think of five kids at sugarbush off the top of my head who are younger and better. Stop age claiming.

Did you come to woodward and did I do your intro session for you and your brother? You look familiar.

there are many different factors than age for being good. For example ball mass, wallet size, and ratio of bitches a day. Also a blessing from Tom would help

wtf is with all this age claim hate??? who gives a shit?? does it seriously bother you that a kid is stoked to be a a certain level at a certain age?

I'm 17 an you're slightly better (due to the jumps, I barely do anything but 3s,5s, backflips...)

Improve your style... try not too much to spin to win, you've got some solid tricks, now make them look good!

Especially on rails; try to have a compact solid body position... oh and learn switchups, kfeds... only front and blind 2outs and some casual 4 outs don't get you too far, try learning railing both ways

also maybe spinning both ways...

dunno, I always dreamt of being a pro skier but lol... Kai Mahler is about 3 months younger than me and lives about 2 hours from where I live... and he's pro. I'm not even close to be sponsored lol...

so most importantly: have fun!

that kid def doesnt have any style, maybe on the first couple of tricks but not on rails, although the tricks were impressive
