i had an idea of taking my sisters old little plastic skis and attaching them to my feet and then doing some stuff on the trampoline..... is this gonna work?

or is it a crazy idea comin from a skier experiencing withdrawal hahaha

 
it might, but i just made some intensely ill tramp skis with some stuff called eucaboard thats really thin, really light, and really flexible

an easy way to do it is by using cardboard and reinforcing it with thin strips of wood and duck tape

or you could use corrugated plastic and reinforce it with wood

the cardboard way is probably the easiest to make, but it would take the longest, the other two ways are really good if you can find the right materials

just use an old pair of skis and tape up the edges

one question, if you fall off the tramp, and you have skis attached, won't you die and ruin next years season?

If they're stiff it wont work at all. Distributing weight doesn't work out too well on a regular round tramp.

uh my tramp is big

16 and a half footer

and the skis are like shitty plastic things that bend nicely.... haha wait, i guess they arent skis but theyre somethin like it haha

 
oh, trust me, you can fall off a tramp that size, a false bounce and weeeeeeee, you fly!

make sure they plastic is well rounded if sharp

It will dammage the Tamp, You can grind or file the sides down, if any metal edges on skis take them off, Your grinding wheel or file will also be scrap after because the plastic will have melted & stuck to the disc or teeth. which ever

ahaha i just tried using cardboard.... why i did that i have no idea

because it didnt fuckin work, i think im just gonna tape up the edges on some old short skis and try that shit out...

 
real skis work u just cant go too high cause they absorb the bounce

its also real slippery so sometimes ur skis just shoot out from under you

i tried it this one time and it wasnt as good as i thought it was gonna be

 
ive tried it and its not the fun....the skis do tend to slip out under your feet a little bit.

skis dont work to well because you dont get much air on a reg tramp...it edoesnt distribute your weight right...my freinds getting a string bed so itll be nice but ill prolly die

your lucky, my parents dont allow me to get a tramp. they think im gonna break my neck. i bought one last year for my birthday and they took it right back once i got home with it, it didnt even get out of the car.

i tried it with 140cm skis. the skis end up abospbing the bouce, and we ended up delaming the ski because it flexed like mad when we tried to bounce huge.

you could always try bouncing with your boots on.

oh and if you use real skis with edges make sure you cover them so you don;t tear your tramp.
