For sequences you need at least 5fps. That spec was unavailable from Sony or anywhere else.

you can get the whole package for like $300 used

They're called battery grips now, but in the olden days when we used to shoot film there was actually a motor drive you could stick on the bottom of some cams to shoot faster.

If you don't know how to use a SLR get a superzoom like the pana FZ50

the view finder is a little video screen(which sucks), not an slr.

waste of money, but a digital slr.

nikion d100 to d 40 is a safe best bet.

Mark II,III

D2XS

D2HS

D40, D50, D70, D80, Rebels, 5D, 1DS are not fast enough for a good sequence.

30D does 5fps, the rebels do 2.5 or 3.
