Is this bullshit or what?

i hav about 10 tickets on my coat and in the odd eventh that they check, i fumble thru and give up looking b/c im holding up the line, and the ticket isnt even on there!

thats messed up...fight for your passes. why did you guys get your passes taken away and 100$ fine what has happened to people? all about the money

Im with everybody else, skiing is way expensive and over priced. Be careful riding without a pass though. My GF got caught at my local hill. They did the same thing, escorted us to the lodge and they gave me the whole story that if they catch people poaching their policy is to make you buy a full day lift ticket, ban you from the mountain for the day, and if they feel the need to, they can have the state troopers arrest you. Good times. I ended up buying her a season pass that day. Gotta love inflation, every year tickets/passes get higher and higher, what do they expect ski bums to do.

Jesus, thats bullshit, but you'll get your passes back, it's inevitable. Just be careful next time you ride after a ticket expires, mountains will often get pretty pissy over stuff like that

So I see that's Pats Peak is in New Hampshire near a number of other ski hills. Ski somewhere else, don't go back. I've dealt with a number of overzealous lift ops, ski patrol, etc. since the early 80's. Here is a list of reprimands, some of which are rediculous given how the sport has changed.

Used to get reprimanded for going over jumps; Skiing in the half pipe; Skiing in the woods; Skiing under the lift; doing tricks; straight line tucking; racing; skiing over mounds left by the snowmaker; skiing too close to the fence, using a snowboard (an unauthorized item).

You name it there is always a righteous rule maker out there, and there is always a ski hill that can be found that will respect the customer.

thats the gayest shit ive ever heard. for 30 minutes over? i would burn that place down.

having your ticket checked would suck. i lost my seasons pass in mid december and they said it would be $25 to print a new one. ive been riding daily since then without needing to show it once.

theres several different ways that you could go about getting your passes back legally, maybe not the one hundred dollars because you did break the rules

i went to pats the first time this year and i will probably never go back. not a bad experience with lifties but just cause i don't like pole pushing a mile at the bottom of every run to make it back to the lift.

ski sunapee and all these problems are solved (except deadly amounts of people there on weekends...)
