I'm a junior in high schoool, and uhhh I have a D in level 1 chemistry. the highest grade on a test I've gotten all year has been a 75%....yeah I pretty much suck at chemistry! so basically I'm dropping to a level 2 chem class next week (in my school level 1 is basically an impossible class and then level 2 is a joke). but unfortunatly I have my midyear exam tomorrow and I dont know jack shit about chemistry! is this bad that I dont plan on studying for this exam and fully plan to get an F on it??? help me ns, I feel bad about this. I need to get in to college!!!!!

and the logicle thing to do would be to go study right? but I just tried for a solid 45min - 1 hour and I couldn't figure anything out. ahhhhhhh
 
who cares. If your moving to a differnt calss it should be a big deal. Just do the best you can. Also why isnt thre a line separating post there?
 
if its any comort i didnt study for ap bio. that wasnt a good idea, but at least two of us arnt going to college
 
Talk to the teacher, see if you can skip the level 1 midyear exam and take the level 2 midyear exam late when you have studied for it.
 
for some reason that wasnt as comforting sounding as i meant it to be. whatever, chem sucks anyways, no worries
 
haha ayooo no worries. I'm hoping my other grades will carry me into college. One D second semester and an F on a midyear wont keep me out will it?!!!!!!!
 
if your droping the class anyway in a week there is no point in studying for the test. If you droped the class before the date then the mark shouldn't show up anyway. If your woried about getting into college it would be better to put your time towards studying for a diff. subject instead of one your going to drop anyway
 
your a junior, dont you still have another year left? Cramming tonight will do nothing for you. It seems like you fucked up awhile ago. Cramming only works if you have a basic idea of what is going on. Anyways fuck this exam. Study your ass of an get a 100 on the next test.
 
why wouldn't you study?Just study hard and do some serious BS'ing, giving upand doing nothing is lame as hell. And don't worry your a girl so you can probably mary a loaded dude without much hassle hehe.but honestly tho, study your ass off and talk to someone that knows whats goin on.
 
Yea, I came to the same conclusion as you did in statistics last semester, Colleen. I went into the final exam with no studying, no calculator and without the equation sheet. I got a 63.2%.

Given that the class average was 62.8, this was pretty fucking good considering I finished in 20 minutes when everyone else took 3 hours. I also ended with an A- in the course! So, there is hope for you still! Good luck kiddo.
 
some things that people ask for help on here are legit but this ones not. I have been in your position before, you have to buckle down and study. what else are you gonna do. Just think that its only a few hours and after tomorrow your gonna feel so much better about it
 
yea w/e...u kind of brought yourself into this situation if u are not studying for this exm...it kind of shows us that u are not that serious about chemistry and most likley school in general...but on a brighter note, tour marks will be much better on the lower class, but i would never sell yourself short..if u CANT do it thast one thing...its another if u just dont fell like it
 
today, i had a science exam. i was totally freaking out. but then when i did it, it was stupidly easy
 
pshh you think you know...but you have no idea! I have a mental block against chemistry. I have honestly studied for long periods of time for tests prior to this one, and my grades still slip down. it seems everything I do in that class, goes wrong. I go to my teacher multiple times after school to study and review with him, but nothing seeems to work. perhaps it is my teacher, or my mental retardation against chemistry, or maybe even my newly aquired lack of motivation involving chemistry....but I honestly feel like studying for this exam will not help me, and thus I am wasting my valuable time.
 
ehhhhhhh ive NEVER been a bio or chem guy.....ive never understood a word they said in those classes....i think i passed biology with a 52 or somethign.

haha at my school level 1 is the worst, so i was so confused when you said you were dropping down from level 1 to level 2 to help your grade. study like fuck for the midterms, then drop it for the beginning of the new semester.
 
do what they did in the "movie" called the perfect score and steel the answer and ace that shit

or go in and write CHEM IS GAY on the paper and leave

youll still get into a good school, my friend fucked up a couple class and he still got into a nice private school.
