Just bought some volkl sumo 2008 with pivots for 40$

did i get a good deal? Would the pivots still be ok to use? These will be secondary pow skis since i do also have some pettitors

for $40 you can jib on rocks and not give a shit. you should probably get the bindings tested at a shop if you wanna be safe, idk what they'll say about the indemnification but people were riding the OG black and gold rossi pivots from the 90s all the way into the 2010s
 
Please have a shop look at the bindings. It's cheap and it can't hurt.

Otherwise, the skis seem sick. Definitely a good beater ski or just 2nd pow ski.
 
Will take them to my local shop to test them. The guy i bought the off havent used them much, have been standing inside for ths last 4-5 years. So hoping they could be allright
 
functional skis for $40 is a great deal no matter what

those look good from what i can see. definitely have the bindings checked at a shop like you said you would but otherwise yeah that is a better price than anyone could ever reasonably hope for on gear that is (old, but) top of the line
