Is this a good deal or a bad deal?

that camera is nearly 20 years old, you can find it for much cheaper with a bit of looking. But it wouldn't be a bad camera to start off with, both for photography and film
 
Do not buy that camera, just save some more skrilla, 300-400 bucks will go a long way.
