Is this a good computer for the price

i'm not much of a gamer, but maybe if I had a better pc I would get some games. the pc I use now can hardly run counterstrike 1.6 at not so good settings.

I want to do graphics and editing too with it and general web browsing and school work
 
well, yeah, but i'm wondering if i can go cheaper for something thats still adequate or maybe get something better for the same money
 
no, thats a good price for that vid card, which at the moment is best bang for the buck

aka best performance per dollar
 
I'd say save a little more, and buy something new, not reconditioned. Maybe it's just me but buying refurbished stuff never works out.
 
well first i am a computer tech and my first suggetions is to stay AWAY FRO GATEWAY, back in the day they were good they have went down hill, The statistics are good on it (stay round those numbers) but gateway hardware is shit i guarantee you will replace more boards than you will turn it on.
 
yeah gateway is not a good company when it comes to quality. that is some good specs for the price though.
 
so after shopping around i see that that was a hell of a price for those specs (i think). i can't seem to find anything remotely similar and the gateway sold out and apparently gateway's no good. has anyone seen a good deal?
