If it is, how tf am I supposed to do that on skis?

Don't listen to the dweeb in the video.

This is probably one of the best how to vids out there. Helped me a lot with my 3's and then 5 and 7.

What am I doing then, and does it associate to any trick on skis?

It’s not. That’s like a d spin or a really zesty back full.

what you're doing is more of a D-spin/back full. In a cork 7, your feet shouldn't go above your head and if they do you need to set more spin and less flip.

That said, you're right there and the difference is minimal so you should have no problem getting it to more of a cork. My suggestion, start by doing the cork 7 progression (as shown in the video below), this will teach to you roll over your shoulder rather than flip. The key to this progression, is to have your feet pointing at 90 degrees when landing on your back rather than having them pointing the same direction you started. Set the spin and spot at 270 then roll to your back rather than spotting at 180. That may sound confusing but you'll see what I mean when you watch this video.

Good luck G.

Thats a really good back full. You should learn side and front fulls too. Look up cork 7 2 bounce sets and you will see the difference.
