Is there anyway that PC can stay open?

bump to this and keep up like a down rail and box ?!!!! kinda like brighton does in the preseason
 
just do like copper and push all the snow to the base (pick and shovel) and set up features to hike
 
would be the coolest.... but to bad will never go down

cant even set shit up without them kicking ya right off the mtn = wack
 
they have to lease there land from the forest service, thats always been the excuse in the past as to why they don't stay open longer even when we have a shit ton of snow left..

however i have always been confused as to how they stay open for summer operations but not extend there ski season...... fuck park city.
 
I was wondering that same thing the other day about Brighton. I know that all the resorts except the Bird lease their land, but on Brighton's website it talks about how it is a public mountain and can be used all summer long. Im sure there isn't enough draw to run the lifts, but what about setting features up in Lower Majestic to hike?
 
Like snowbird, PC owns there land too. However their greedy bastards and would never care for their season pass holders. Also, how else are they suppsoed to build sick parks for the pros to hit after the season ends so it looks like they care about having a good park on video.
 
unfortunately I think your right.he got pretty pissed after last time.it was real nice to hear shit from them so often early season.
on a positive note, i actually saw park crew maintaining (salting and raking) shit in kings yesterday (a weekday believe it or not).
 
yea, ive pretty much given up on pic.it hasnt even been that fun when conditions are good.i liked the old setup much better.
but jonesy's was alright today because everything stayed fairly hard and un-rutted.
kings also blew.
 
you guys werent kidding when you said they maintain NOTHING. im staying away from pc. I now appreciate canyons park crew SO SO SO much!
 
You hype the Can up way too much. PC does blow this year...but the Can still isn't better. When I went to the Can I thought the jumps sucked even more than the unmaintained Kings jumps. Regardless....I hope PC really steps it up next year, this year their park was somewhat bland.
