I just sorta noticed that everyone on the armada team is sponsored by oakley. Then they make session 1242, and the first people on the list is the entire armada team except boyd. Is there some affiliation, like is oakley a major shareholder or something?

Yeah, thats what i was wandering, and it applies to lots of other things. ie. siver cartel-Line, DNA-Dynastar, dna-dynastar-spy. they all seem to be connected. Whats the deal ???

Most of Spy's riders ride for Dynastar. How many dynastar riders ride for oakley? they eather ride for Smith or spy. Also most line riders ride for scott.

The founder of Armada used to be someone important in Oakley, I forget what exactly he was though. To start that company required a lot of capital and I doubt that he could get a loan for all of that with out some sort of backing.

Armada's owner Hans Smith used to work for oakely, they all just have tight connections between the two companies, and no way is Oakley gonna buy out Armada, u think Armada is that stupid, they're representing a core riding company that only cares about skis. simple stuff kids

^^yea he has probably got it right for the most part, my firends shop started carryin a lot of armada stuff, and during the order process he talked to the vice pres or somethin a lot and i guess he told them that oakley is giving them some backing

I know for sure a guy from Oakley left to work and help start Armada.

Siver and Orage are corporately backed by the same company (I think Line is too). Siver is run by Nick but the corporate backing helps him do more than he could before because of the financial help. Nick still owns it but the corporation gets a cut of the profits. Line is the same way but Im not sure if its the same corporation. Orage was formally a racing apparel company that needed to change direction or tank. They started to focus on the new school stuff and dished out huge cash for the Orage big air or something and also sponsored WSI so they got instant recognition.

SMS got started by some apparel start up wanting to use John Smarts name because of his reputation in the mogul world. John was hesitant for a while and eventually signed on. After a while, John bought out his partner and took on the show by himself.

A lot of the bigger name companies get some sort of backing from bigger companies. If any of the small players here want to be successful, look to sign on with a venture capitalist or other company looking to expand but need a new brand to be successful. A lot are willing to silently back new companies for a cut in the whole deal.

Oakley doesn't sponsor 2 riders who must be in the top 5 one being pep fujas. The other is sponosred by Quiksilver and his name is Candide Thoves (he is my personal number one)

It is actually all a conspiracy, no one rides for anyone they just ride and make movies, they buy all their own stuff and the good riders just prefer oakley and armada because its the best, and most expensive.
