Hello,

It has been a while,

I am 130lbs, 5'6.5

Currently skiing red mountain British Columbia

I'm in the market for new skis, I currently have on3p jefferys as my powder skis and love them. I also have pretty much brand new on3p filthy riches, but i want to sell the the FR and get an all mountain skis that i could also do some small tours with, probably nothing too hardcore.

so my question is.

What is a good ski that I would put touring bindings. I am thinking something between 88 and 100 underfoot, not after a twin tip, something pretty directional.

hope this makes sense.

cheers jimmy

also,

I am a advanced skier that gets bored on the groomers but enjoying going fast on them occasionally.

if there is anything else i can tell you let me know

Armada Declivity would suit, directional and chargy but still light enough and they are discontinued. Evo has em cheap in a 176.

Atomic Backland 102 would work as above

Line sick day 95/102 would work, would avoid the tourist in all honesty, flimsy and light for an all mountain ski. Better as a dedicated tourer with tech bindings.

If you are made of money, Blizzard zero g 95s or volkl bmt 94s are baller.

Fischer Ranger 108 ti.

It won editor's pick in freeskier, powder, and backcountry magazines the last two years. It is light but it doesn't ski like it is light. It charges.

I've not skied it, but a lot of the (non paid for magazine reviews I've heard) said it sucked somewhat. Most said the R98 was the one to opt for over it.

I've gone for Whitedot Ranger 108's in a 186 as my touring / all mountain rig. I also looked at the R108 but the reviews put me off a lot. I was also considering the Solly Q Lab 190 but couldn't find any left. Would have also gone for the new Q106 but I wanted to try the Whitedots.
