Is there a difference between core center and true center?

core center is the thickest part of your core, the best spot to mount. true center is the exact center of the ski

well with one your in the middle of the ski wich gives you an equal balance f wieght...

and with core center your not always in the exact middle of the ski. so youll mostly end up with more tip than tail, wich doesnt help with switch landings.. in my opinion

it depends, is your ski symetrical? if it is then they will be the same it hink. core center is the center or your core adn thickest part of your ski which would only e effected if your tips were bigger than your tails true center is the center of your ski referring to length.

core center is an annoying mythical region created by the company, true center is the actual middle of the ski.

a ski might be more heavy or have a higher core towards the back of the ski so mounting core center would be whereever it is the highest point and true center just mean directly in the center of the ski no matter where the core center is.

Core center is where the ski as mentioned above is thickest. Companies tend to place thicker wood there to hold your binding screws in better. This part is where the ski was designed to be mounted. True center is generally further past core center (unless your skis are symmetrical, in which case core center=true center), and is the point where you will have equal tip/tail.

that doesn't even make sense.

you cold make fun of me for:

1. Being a bad lover.

2. Being a retard who actually couldnt find it.

3. Possibly not getting laid enough, and therefore not finding it.

but instead you say 100 pound chick...? Would you rather I finger a 300 pound chick?

Wow, even though this thread is a complete repeat, it contains the most understandable definitions of the two types of center. Thanks for bringing this back up.
