Is there a cult for people who read?

wow....ok, is anyone interested in creating a cult for somewhat intelligent discussion on good reading, music, or art? This way we can avoid posts like "jimi hendrix sucks" and people can give decent reviews of these categories. I will start one if there is interest.
 
well if you want to join it, i am sending out invites to people who i identified (through various posts) as people who have good taste. i am dedicated to it b/c everytime someone posts something worthy about the arts, there are 10 jackasses who ruin it.
 
why don't people read? i just don't get it. seems like no one reads anymore unless it's some kind of obligation... it's sad really.

i-pippin, you should think before you type, otherwise you just look like a loser. the cult is not just about reading, but also travel, art, music, and culture. unfortunately you will never have the sophistication necessary to function in an educated society. It is one thing to not want to be a part of it, which is fine, but it is another to make an assumption of someones sexual preference b/c of an interest in something less mainstream than being a jackass. It is comments like yours which fueled my desire to create this cult. So thank you for being such a moron and giving us a venue that is comprised of people who have an interest in culture. You are truely an inspiration.
 
I'd love an invite to a cult where there would be intelligent conversations about the finer things in life.
