Is the Shoestring Lodge still open?

Title says it all, my father actually brought me there almost ten years ago. Internet says it closed in 06, is this true? I'd like to stay in as seedy a dump as possible.

i was pretty sad the year it shutdown. my dad actually worked in its kitchen (under whatever its old name was) when he ski bummed in whistler in the late 70's. it kinda seemed like one of the last remaining bits of old Whistler.

I don't live in Vancouver or Whistler anymore but god do I miss some of the old classics.

Primarily Dusty's from back in the day with their bangin nachos, car racing video game, and just dinginess.

Also miss the old Roundhouse and their salty as shit Ramen.
