Is the new GoPro worth it?

because some people dont know how to upload proper video and/or edit them to come out as 1080 or 720. every kid and his mother uses microsoft movie maker or imovie and does a fast upload without knowing what they are doing

Nice comparison video. The only major difference that I see is at night. Otherwise they all seemed pretty similar. I jsut got a good deal on the Contour, I just wish they could have upped to 60fps at some setting. The slow mo shots look way better imo

I have the answers you seek my friends. Answer is yes, it's worth it. I've been part of development in getting the picture quality where we want it and my big thing was getting that snow exposure right. check it. HD1 vs HD2, untouched out of the cam. If you blow it up full you'll also notice how much more sharp/higher res HD2 looks. Photos are also so so so banger in the new one.

We've done a few changes to the image in the cam since these shots were taken but this'll give you a rough idea of the difference.

(can't see past page 1 with the app so sorry if this was already answered.) but the new one has a white plastic shell and the buttons and screen are a little different.

sadly the new one does look like it offers a lot more as far as picture quality and video quality go. I have the old one and the only thing I like about the new one compared is the snow exposure and how it looks... its not nearly as bright and just so weird looking
