Is the J96 park orientated?

Is the J96 more of a park ski? tossing up between the 102 and the 96 but worried there isn't that much difference between my 108s and the 102s (6mm). I ski 90% all mountain 10% park.
 
they’re an everything ski so it doesn’t really matter. the magnus/mango designs are the park oriented skis.
 
Probably would go the 96 given you’re in NZ but why are you looking to get another? Just a skinnier ski with more bite on ice or?

In this case since its the same model for sure agree but you can obv get skis of similar or the same waist width that ski differently enough to warrant the purchases
 
They’re both designed on the same all mountain freestyle platform so I wouldnt say one is more park oriented than the other. You could make the argument that the 96 would be better for park than the 102 just because the narrower width will make it a bit lighter and snappier on rails/jumps. Both will perform well outside the park, with the 102 being slightly more capable of busting through crud and floating on fresh snow, and the 96 being better on firmer days. Personally I’d go 96 if you already have 108s just to have a little more variety in the quiver

Nz, and I got the 108 as my touring ski so I wouldn't be bringing the 108 into the resort unless there was fresh snow.

Im looking to get another pair because I am going to sell my BC100s. Skinnier ski for the Nz ice and the 108s are my touring ski

How deep does it usually get? What bindings on your 108s? I'd probably still get the 96 to have a more diverse quiver and it still will do fine on a lot of deep snow days. I mean people used to ski powder on widths in the 80s... The 102 isn't a bad option but if you're willing on the deepest, softest days, you can still bring your 108s into the resort, so I'd go 96.

Not that deep really, P15s which will be mounted with cast and the 96 will hold up perfectly fine in nz powder

Lol if you have pivots on your 108s idek why you're considering the 102s
