Is the end for the east coast?

so here in southern NY we have had 5 straight days of mid 50 degree weather.

is the warmth here to stay?? i finnaly started progressing more...now BOOM.

...didnt even get to ride my j-mos!

after VTs 50" of snow i think theyll be okay at least for a little bit. things arnt looking too good for southern new england though. hopefully well get that miraculous march dump that we ussually get every season but it isnt looking that way

At 7 springs we have a solid 10 ft. base everywhere, once the resort itself closes the big park and its lift will remain open and we can take snow from the rest of the mountain, park crew is shooting for July 4th... Haha

Yeah.

Stowe does a Memorial Day rail jam, and they have to push the snow from the half-pipe to get enough snow. Pipe dreams.

exactly, have to stay positive. At least we got all the snow a couple weeks ago to last us as late as possible..skiing right now is great tho at Whiteface

Where the fuck is Seven Springs? There's no way you have a base with about the same

amount of snow as I do in CA.

I ride with the OP and seems like we can't get up no matter what this week seems like things are allmost done, hopfully at least one more day of skiing

yeah dawg im in maryland and its been in the sixties all week. rain for the next four days. i think it's here....good thing ive still got utah

yea michigan hasnt gotten shit for snow all year, it rained on christmas, and now its been 40 degrees at night, yea unless we get a winter storm were fucked, sucks...

even though they got a shit ton of snow there is no way theyll stay open til july 4th. and i really think the mountain would be loosing a shitload of money if they do that

Start thinking we'll be all set, and you won't be so upset.

Cannon and Loon still have their spring snow and i plan on heading out to the hills ever day i can

they dont run the lift...its all hike only/weekends only..so money isnt an issue i dont think.....on shitty years they make it till mid/late April . This year has practically been historic, so July would be a fun goal to aim for.
They are smart and build it at the bottom of there main jumpline/ 18ft 300 long pipe. So as it melts, they just keep pushing it down and re building.

springs.jpg

that is also directly in the center of where the "spring" park will be
ever see how slow ice melts behind an ice rink?

I'm shitting myself about what to do. I denied a trip to Florida for the last week in March. Idk what to do, i wanna ski real bad. Holiday Valley had an amazing spring sessions park last year. Hopefully that keeps up into April or i'm fucked.

It's supposed to snow next week though so we shall see.

OVER!?

MOTHERFUCKING OVER!!???

bitch, i live in upstate/western NY too. and i plan on shredding till at least mid to late may. i dont know what the fuck your pussy ass is talking about.

its 50 and sunny out. im learning cork 7's.

Bristols park is gonna be gone in like two weeks. but there is still just cruising around bristol until they close the mountain (april 4th, maybe even later) and then after that theres the patch, which can potentially last until may. then i just ride snowpark Niagara from then until next winter.

FAR from over for Vermont. We still have nearly at least a montha and a half left at Killington. Wall to wall coverage with awesome base depths and great spring conditions. Even the woods are completely covered after the 4 feet that fell two weeks ago.

Buy a spring pass for $170 and come up every weekend. It will pay for itself after 3 times pretty much.

i know sugarloaf got somethin like 64 inches of snow in the first two weeks of march, so anywhere up north like that should be set.

I think they are waiting until the resorts close to work on Snowpark cause it sucks dick right now (i go to college 2 mins from there).

No maintenance or snow blowing at all right now :[

i predict two more weeks for my local mountain in CNY. gonna get some great spring riding in on saturday and sunday though

uh yeah, but ice rink snow is constantly added to, seeing how they shave the rink everyday and all...

but technically spring is almost here and it is the east coast so that sucks for you guys.

I just got back from liberty in southern pa. and its not looking good. Probably not going to make it to next weekend with the rain that's coming.
