Is the East Coast worth going to?

My friend just moved to Connecticut and wants me to come out to Vermont to ski Killington this winter. I've never skied on the east coast but I heard it's all icy and not so fun. If i can ski at tahoe every weekend, is it even worth flying out to the east to check out a place like Killington? Or would that be like flying across the country to ski at boreal?

depends on if your old enought to get in bars for teh apres ski, wich can make the shittiest days one of the best daysever

Since you're stupid enough to ask if the East Coast is worth flying across the country to ski at, I'm going to tell you that it is and that there's massive amounts of pow and huge cliffs there. It's never too cold or too hot, never slushy, and never, ever icy. Basically, the east coast is the shit and you need to get there ASAP.

Have fun... :):) lol !!1!111!~~~!~!!@!!ed%##*#@84

the east coast blows i am here right now and all i can think about is how bad the skiing must suck. also boston is the worst place on earth fuck that place fuck the people from there. i wish somebody would do us a favor a "acidentally drop a nuke on it." fuck the east coast go west colorado utah cali.

I think you should at least check it out. Killington is fun and has alot of great mogul skiing and glades. If yu have never skied in the east I think you should give it a try. It will give you some perspective. You will appreciate Tahoe even more...and you will realize just how good alot of east coast skiers are. It is generally more difficult to ski on east coast snow given the other variables are constant between the two run. Plus you could just go out and get waisted!!!

Dude, you don't know what the hell you are talking about. Boston kicks ass, has tons of cool people and has plenty to do there. Why don't you get out of your house for once

go to the eastcoast it will make you a waay better rider. Cuz after all the ice you land on youll be a shit load tougher and you wont be a pussy and wait to the next powder day to try a new trick when you get back out west. We have this shit here we call yellow ice (i donno if anyone out side my town calls it that), we get it alot on the landings cuz our park isnt well maintained. But basically its just man made snow super compressed from people landing on it all day, it has this nice yellow translucent tinge, sware to god I would rather bail on pavement LOL

DO it man, anywhere you can ski take up the opportunity, when will you ever have a chance to ski vermont? Vermont is dope, and we kill shit

no, even if it was free, and you were magically teleported across the country, it still wouldn't be worth it if you could ski tahoe. the east blows, i hate it here and theres really no reason for anyone else to have to suffer through it.

thats just a way to make ourselves feel better, who really cares about toughness if they cna ski pow and shit all day out west.

if you do come out here, dont talk smack about the huge cliffs you drop out west. out there you can drop & flop, here you actually have to land. we get our pow days, but its defineatly a different type of skiing. check out meatheadfilms.com for a demo, theyre an all east film company. but yea, defineatly check it out, killi is dope

i know some of the crew at killington and they are definitely pretty cool. Yeah sometimes we have some crappy days were its icy but it would be worth it
