You can for sure still get cool photos with that but you definitely won't be getting any close up/low angle photos with it. You'll need something much much wider (like less than 20 or 30mm) for good low angle rail shots.
I'm assuming for those urban shots you had off camera flash. How did you set it up? Tried shooting urban once, but had to stick the flash on top of my camera and came out with mediocre shots.

Yea, two flashes, a strobe and a speed light off camera in each. My second speedlight (3rd flash) didn't fire in the up rail shot.
Triggered via youngnuo triggers.
I can draw out a diagram if you want, but the setup was pretty simple. Strobe for key light, off of the lens axis (this is why your on camera flash looks bad) then speed lights for fill/rim.
