Hey! I was wondering if it is true that Teddybear crisis will be on UMD for the psp, because I'd be interested in buying it but I don't know if it's only a rumor or if it's true. And if it is true, where can I buy it?

just download software to convert any dvd to avi then to psp or ipod. thats what ive been doing. it takes a while to be prepared

Loll, but I need to buy the DVD to do that and it takes a lot of space on a memory card.

wouldnt it be wicked to like hav a psp on the lift so u can watch the movie to pastt the time and then just listen to music on it when ur skiing, yaaaaa....

I think you don't understand, if I want to convert it, it'll cost me at least a 256 mb memory card ($blinbling$) + the DVD.

Dude didnt u hear, they are making a "teddybear crisis, the game" where u get to hit all the big gaps in the movie with any guy whos in the movie, also there are 10 other mountains you can go to, and all the comps that currently are around right now, and u build a carrer like amped!! coming NEVER!!!!

Yeah i looked for a stick large enough, $149.00+!! The video looks like crap when I tried to make it fit on a cheap card. I already spent 3bills on the PSP.

Doesnt seem worth it to me.... I'm just gonna buy it for the PSP if they ever come out with it. iPod video screen is too small!

First of all, it is 100% happenning, second, please refer to the older thread, called Teddy Bear Crisis for PSP if you actually think it is reasonble to convert, download and then store a DVD on a memory stick for the PSP. It costs over a hundred dollars, and will take up the enitre stick. If you have a huge video Ipod memory fine, but if you own a portable gaming machine like the PSP(which has a bigger and better screen then the videoipod i think) then i think you'd find it cheaper and way better quality to buy it on UMD.

TBC is coming for PSP.

We've gone through all the final checks and Sony is now manufacturing the UMDs. We're not sure the exact date for delivery, but it should be right before Christmas.

Check out www.allyvideo.com and scroll down a bit for confirmation. Ally is the distributor, so only shops can buy from them, but there it is on our main page for all you doubters. I'll probably buy some banners here on NS to hype it too.

The video on the UMD is damn sharp. When you rip the DVD (which is compressed) and then compress it again for the PSP you will have all kinds of crappy artifacts, not to mention no menus, no bonus material, and you'll need at least a gig ($100) of memory for just the feature.

$17.95 retail for the digitally remastered full version with all the bonus material from the DVD and some non-ski stuff too.

Yeah. Right. www.allyvideo.com

They don't have UMD burners for the exact reason that Sony doesn't want anyone, even us developers, to be able to make UMDs that aren't mass produced titles. If you have footage of yourself that you want on your PSP you can encode it and copy it to the PSP with a memory stick, so Sony figures you don't NEED a burner.
