Is Tanner Hall a sellout? Who's the best pro right now?

Hey, I was wondering who you people think is the best pro out there these days and why. I've also heard other people sayin that Tanner is a sellout, and his skiing is way too commercialized and that he's more caught up in the money side of it.I was wondering if this is true or not.
 
I don't think he's a sell out. And I don't feel that anyone on thisa site should be able to say which skier is the best because every pro is out there doing their own thing. They don't all do the same thing so no one is better then anyone else.
 
if hes a sellout than why would he have left one of the richest ski company to start his own core company when he would of had a crazy amount of money to stay with rossi?? how can you even ask yourself the question if hes a sellout, no he isnt
 
tanner hall is not a sellout and he is one of the sickest skiers ever. I dont htink there is a best skier
 
Tanner's not a sellout. He said he's even taking this year off as far as comps and concentating on filming more.

If U judge by style, which most people don't, I'd have to say Mikael is the steez master. Tanner's pretty steezy too and got mad skilz but he really needs to step it up to win comps.
 
Tanner's not a sellout and he is definitely one of, if not THE best skier out there right now. I have so much respect for his riding it's unreal.

I think the only problem that a lot of people have with T (and I have the same prob) is his image. It's been covered a thousand times so I won't say anymore, except that Tanner is a hot shit skier, and if he wasn't the figurehead for our sport that's all that should matter.
 
Tanner has been progressing the sport so much every year! He is definately not a sellout, and he is still very much on top of the game.
 
no on him being a sellout. as the best pro right now, i think now that vanular has stepped up into the backcountry he is mere inches away from being unstoppable. hes a machine
 
Who's the best pro... depends on what you consider.

If you take raw ski talent then its guys like Pep, Pollard, Cr, Sage.

If you take pro to mean more than just the skiing, if you consider the promotion and growth of our sport, then its guys like Tanner, CR and Seth.

If you take everything into it, Tanner is the best, as much as I think he needs to pull up his pants and learn to ski pow, he is the best park rider ever, he promotes the sport more than anyone. Should Super-pipe ever make the olympics, our boy Tanner will be to thank. Should it ever become Main-stream it will be Tanner again. He gives skiing an image, and he gives it progression. He is all by himself at the top of the pro world.
 
^you're a couple years behind. check out teddybear crisis or pop yer bottlez or really any movie with tanner in it. he can ski powder.
 
why does everyone say he is a sellout. He skis and has a lot of sponsors and gets money for it. He is still on the slopes tearing it up and is oe of the best
 
if t-hall is/isn't a sellout i really dont care. hes an amazing skier. also, it seems to me that a lot of people think its horrible to make money from skiing. wake up! this is their career, this is their living! i remember when some people started an uproar about Candide leaving sally for rossi because of more money or something. chill out! if you were offered more money for a job wouldnt you take it?
 
when you and your brother create the force in our industry that is armada, you really cant get a sell out title. like even if he took a pepsi deal and rocked a pepsi sticker on his skis it wouldnt be a big deal. he has done alot for this sport
 
Im not gonna judge who the best skier is aight now because they are all getting sicker and sicker and they are on such a high path to stardom that its impossible to tell who is better than who. I do know however that Tanner Hall is up there with the best skiers EVER and that he is getting better and better, he isnt a sellout in anyway. The only way he is possibly a sellout is the way he does things moseley style, like how he went on Jay Leno and did a x games commercial which he says in interviews he got payed a fuckload for. He is NOT a sellout!

Honestly based on current interviews with T-Hall- talking about gettin out of comps and moving skiing to the backcountry and shit.(assuming he sticks to his word and really pushes it).

He is really gaining my respect cuz i think thats the way we need to go with the sport. Regardless of what you think of him he has progressed the sport imensely and will to continue to do so!!
 
Considering how big of a player tanner is for armada a "core" company and hes sponsered by a rolling paper company, i dont think hes a sell out, and even if he was people shouldnt talk shit cuz im pretty sure its safe to say that he better then everyone on this web site
 
yeah tanner is an awesome skier... what is a sellout anyway? hoe could he be one?

the only thing: stop calling him t-dizzle, thats just wrong
