IS SSX OT WORTH IT?

id say buy it because its a skiing game but here are some pros/ cons

pros: slow spinning

long runs

the fact that you are skiing

cool pipe

cons: they really slacked with the whole rewards thing

grinding is too easy

cant techincally go corked

overall its a good game but try to get it used
 
yes!!! its so much fun although unrealistic its so much entertainment, specialy if its the middle of winter and the snow melts
 
u don't really need to ask if it's worth it, it only cost $30, i liked it thoguh, it has all real twin - tips (except one) and you can do some pretty stylish things, the things i don't like is their r no grind buttons you just jump on the rail (makes it a lil challenging to grind) and their r some move that r a little extreme and extremely fake... i prefer realistic...
 
the switch carving looks good.

buy it so they see an interest in skiing and maybe someone else will see that and make a better game
 
I liked it for the freeriding and some of the mission stuff was cool but it just got to a point where unrealistic stuff won the game
 
Thats pretty much the same way i feel about it. Of course, your going to get pissed when you see the "Monster" tricks where you can pull off your ski, but thats what SSX is known for. The cool thing about the game is the sponsorships, as well as real life skis, both racing and trick. All in all, it is a very good start as a skiing game with alot of potential.
 
what? seriously that sucks. and ya its worth buying. it gets way hard though, i dunno if i can keep goin
 
yea its pretty sick, pretty easy to beat though. id i rented it and my friend has it. gets old after a while but sure beats johnny mosleys mad trix
 
I thought it was really dumb acctually. The only way to score well is take your ski off and do a handstand on it while sliding a 300 foot rail then do a triple backlip with your ski wrapped around your neck then ski it out clean
 
speaking of $30 do you know where i can download some rocko's modern life episodes i have been looking everywhere
 
yeah my friends got it for ps2, its fun for a little bit, but theres way too much goofy shit and no designated jumps, and the rails are all gay
 
I enjoy it, me and my buddy just do freeride for the hell of it mostly though, we are also the only people who ski in it.

As a game in general, ssx3 was better
 
its pretty cool, career gets incredibly challenging after i was ranked 25th. im stuck now
 
It's so cheap now that i say why not, in some places its like 20$. The only bad things about this game is that you cant do corks, lincoln etc. and it gets kinda boring pretty fast.
