Is skiing

well its definately not a sport for the poor black urban youth, and indeed not one for severly depressed black outfit adorned youngsters with a grudge agains the world.

i'd say its for middle to upperclass whitefolk. what do they call that?

Wear whatever the fuck you want, be an individual, thats part of what got this sport to where it is today.
 
uhmm.. classifying a sport as either "emotional" or "ghetto" is v. strange. i certainly dont feel the need to sing about my feelings while skiing. nor do i feel the need to pretend im "gangster" while doing so.. considering the old money implications of skiing, i'd have to say its not ghetto at all. there are just an overly large amount of skiers who feel the need to get dressed up like they were born in compton, quite strange and stupid.. unfortunately there is no fighting it.
 
none. its an independant and ill sport. not emo at all, do you see people cutting themselves?
 
skiing is art that u design urself. u can make ur own style but most ppl including myself try to be GANGSTA.

all these little kids wanna be like tanner hall or candide so i guess you could say they are conforming to an image put forth by the elite

 
agreed, it takes money to ski. I don't care if they worked a ton for that money and their parents didn't help at all, it still takes money. if they were actually born in the ghetto that money would be going towards buying themselves some food, not hitting the slopes 60+ times a season.
