Is plehouse even making a movie this year?

First, I searched...nothing. their website is down and their myspace says nothing.

I haven't seen or heard anything about a new film. Maybe I'm missing something huge, but I just haven't heard anything.

 
not this silent though. Usually theres an update on some shoot or something. To buy the movie though, its gonna have to be a lot better than save and be on par with whiteshine
 
Ouch, maybe a little harsh? Save definitely was'nt their best work, but Skimatic and Whiteshine were sick. I heard they were not going to make a movie this year though.
 
very good chance, I spoke to some of the guys there, they were selling two of their 16mm cameras, if so, that would be a shame, they were very talented editors, they made some sick segments
 
I don't think so.

Redtape bored the hell out of me, Whiteshine did the same, I can't even remember what movie came out next, Skimatic had the cool Lebanon segment, and I didn't even bother watching Save. They've all been shitty to me.
 
Plehouse died i was told,.. total shame i liked thre movies... who evers hating on them you guys are retards, that lebanon segment , and there editing and there music was killer.. i really liked there moviesl. never saw save though but i bought ever other film they ever did. casue they were the only ski movie company making movies that were different, as oppseed to the boring ass segmant after segmant shit thats the fashion in ski movies of today.. they made movies that were like docos of there season like a skate movie.. hell sick RIP plehouse
 
plehouse is teaming up with FARP for the most progressive film ever to be made. Look for a trailer to drop in the coming weeks. All im going to say is 4 rails 4 transfers 64 stairs...
 
shit son think how quickly you would have to switch up by the time you got to the end of the 3rd rail you would be maching it and then you still would have one rail to go.

i loved redtape, its one of my favorite flicks... and whiteshine was good too... But i can see why you wouldnt like them if you dont like the "chill" type ski movies... cuz thats what i though all plehouse films were..
 
mik d...exact science...fav section. after that all i really cared to watch was redtape and bibby and laurent's sections in skimatic. the rest i didnt care for.

did you see skimatic? laurent favre's part was one of the best parts i have ever seen in a movie.. that pumped me up soo much..
 
Me too, def one of my favorite movies that year. SAVE, not so much, one of the worst. Sucks to see them fade out for sure, they had some cool shit going on in their flicks.
 
Meh, i liked redtape and exact science, but after that it went downhill and there was a reason they are done, they were obviously not making any money. Its a tough industry, its still small so, as darwin says, survival of the fittest.
 
they amways had killer soundtrack, and a jf houle segment. So they were good movie.

redtape and exact science were sooo good.
 
I bought Exact Science/Redtap/and Skimatic. I think they were all sick movies with ill riders. I fuckng love Belanger. Whatever happened to him?
 
Me too! Belanger is one of my all time favorite skiers. Such good style. His switch cork 7 tails were the dopest of all.

So lets see, that two good segments in what? 4, 5 movies?

Granted I've never seen Exact Science, but still...
 
what are you talking about? there were three sick segments just in skimatic alone (bibby, charles, and lolo).
 
they told us at last year premier that save was the last movie they made. I think it's real bad cuz i really enjoyed skimatic and whiteshine. Save was not the best movie though
 
i dont know what you're talking about, both bibby and frank's part in SAVE were like the two most inspirational segments that year, if theres no more plehouse they definitely went out with a bang
 
That's super unfortunate. I bought and enjoyed all their movies, except that save was a little ridiculous (but it had really good skiing). They always had sick riding, a different style, and epic segs, props to plehouse!

Although I didn't really like save all that much, whiteshine was the shit, same with redtape. I liked skimatic minus the wierd animations and exact science was really good too. They did a bunch of stuff that was really creative and made their movies stand out, which is why I bought all of them. Oh well. Wonder what they're all doing...concentrating on d-structure?

I also remember plehouse saying that charles the photographer wasn't going to be with them this season.
 
ive liked all thier flicks.. i havent seen save yet.. but exact science was a sick video too.. Mik D has a sick seggy. as well as gangier and others..
 
copy that, Sarah Burkes presence was appreciated.
