Is my go pro scratched?

looks like it, although I haven't taken it out of the case between the last time i filmed something (no scratch visible) and the time i recently filmed something so i'm not sure what happened. but here's a pic without the case on. I don't see anything on the glass either, I looked at it in bright light, and even set it still and used a polarizer to eliminate reflections and see the glass more easily. I can't think of a way to pass light through the lens though to see if the spec shows up. can't imagine anything could get in the camera either so it's probably on the lens.

oh, it's obviously that mark on the right there. Also, i hooked it up to a tv and using lens cloths, singled out the location where it shows up on video and nothing is there. although the go pro is so wide and distorted the issue might be in a different location.

It might be dust on your sensor, though it looks a little large for that. If the company won't take it back to fix it, it isn't that difficult to fix yourself if you know what you're doing (you'll need a heat gun and compressed air canister). Try checking with GoPro first.
