Is my edit good?!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you can check it out here...tell me what I need to improve on and dont hate to much cause im only 14 and I film with a gopro haha

I know the skiing isnt the greatest but he is only 14 and is currently sponsored by " The rock sports complex" and he learned how to 270 on, kfed, and rodeo.

too much slow motion. and the super slo mo was shitty, too much ghosting. make sure you film at a high frame rate (60fps) and only reduce to 20% minimum, usually the slowest i got is 35% when filming at 60fps.other than that it wasnt terrible, but look to upgrade to a DSLR if youre serious about filming edits and wants quality stuff. the sky was sooper nice in some shots too. keep at it

Sorry dude most good edits have exactly one more exclamation mark in the thread title than yours, youll get em next time

Well if you learned all those tricks you shoulda put em the video...? Gotta clean up your style. and dont look for people to praise your video. If it truly is good, theyll know, you shouldnt have to advertise like youre a prodigy.

It's not bad at all, I liked it, but I'd try to work on making a clean and fluid edit before putting a lot of effects. I personnally try to avoid slowmo slower than 50% because it's really easy to break the rythm of your edit with mega slowmos. Try to keep those super slowmo for only a few banger shots (like that backlip, that was cool), not a guy simply grinding a rail. Also maybe try to make the edits a bit shorter and keep only the best shots. Thats my advice feel free to use it or not!

When filming at 60fps, be careful with the slow motion. You never want to make your framerate lower than 24fps in post. This means that when you slow it down, make it no lower slower than 40%. (60x0.4=24) This will prevent any frame blending looks and will keep it smooth.

also, only put the best shots in the edit. Watching him sketchily slide a rail straight isn't impressive. Only use your best shots and keep it tight.

As you are just 14 according to your age it is nice but professionally there

are lot more things to learn. Keep learning keep it up.

I think you should get closer to the rider on some shots and on jumps i prefer to see takeoff AND landing. If your using a gopro i don't think shots from really far look good (2:49)because of the fish eye lens. Not a fan of super slowmo in any edit unless the shot is a complete banger but if it is regular slowmo it works better. Don't like the colour effect you added much either. I liked when you where close you focused on the skis not the riders body.
