Is mounting 5 cm back too much for park?

really torn on mounting my new skis and can't decide between 2.5 and 5, cm back just getting back into skiing and wasn't sure if this was too far back for park as i plan to hit the mountain 50/50...park / all mtn. thanks.

it shouldnt be much of a prolbem. i ride a lot of park and mine are mounted back pretty far. it just makes skiing switch and spinning a little harder but it really shouldnt be a prolbem.

171 ar6's, just seems like alot of tail if i mount them center and plan on doing mostly jibbing to start off....this is my first ski setup in a couple of years and want to get good on the entire mountain.

I have pipe cleaners mounted at -5 and have no issues with swing weight problems or taking off or landing switch. I have owned symmetrical center mounted skis and it makes little difference in my opinion.

any effect on jibbing with a mount that far back, i assume i'll be moving into switch skiing eventually but as i start out its all about going forward except maybe coming off a rail.

Just go at the recommended line.

its there for a reason.

2.5 would be fine though, 5 cms is a lot, and if youre looking to get into the park scene a little more it would be a better place to be set up. It wont effect your skiing after a few runs.

have fun

gotcha, well what is 'recommended'? ski has markings for center, 2.5, and 5 cm.....none say recommended. any ar6 owners have a suggestion?
