Is LimeWire broken?

Yeah so I just moved into a new appartment with ethernet instead of wireless and now LimeWire will not connect anymore. Is it my connection here that won't allow P2P or is LimeWire broken for every one? What program do you people use?

When you changed your connection it might have done something to your firewall maybe? Or did you recently install a firewall? Because most common firewalls (like norton etc) will not allow LimeWire to connect and you have to manually go in and tell them to permit such a program.

Yeah i tried bearshare a second ago. It doesn't work either. Also it has adware taked on it. I can't figure it out and it is making me mad. I want to download a new song.

my router doesnt block out limewire at all, mine works fine, never ever disable a firewall when using Limewire, its like sentencing your computer to death
