Is killington worth it?

Hoping to go to killington on Saturday but dont know if its worth it. Is the rail setup good and fub to hit? I live in nh and would rather not drive that entire way if its shit.

I'm 6-7 hours away and plan on driving up on a 3-day weekend to get 3 days of skiing in. Is there any other resort that's closer to Pennsylvania that will be open/have more than 3 features at this time?

Going up in 2 weeks from NEPA. Long drive but still worth it, our ski resorts don't open till mid December.

What's it cost these days for preseason? I've only ridden killington once and that was the hike park in the spring 4 or 5 years ago.

I've been there several times and spent a whole weekend there 3 years for a music festival in the winter without riding it. It's probably nice, it's just very expensive. I would like to check out the stash sometime if theres decent snow, and they've been building a lot of sick new rails the last few year. Maybe I can get a discount ticket from somebody at some point.

ok so this is what im hearing however i dont know if its actually going to happen. but otherwise ill be up at killi for sunday. holla at me

Only $25 with a two for one voucher. Not sure how long that'll last, but the two for one goes until December 12th I believe.

The hike out is brutal. worth it for a few early season runs but its not gonna be worth more than one day until its top to bottom, especially if you have a long drive. The park was however on point all day with a flat rail, down tube and flat box. snow coverage is solid though on the 4 open trails, it was even snowing sunday.

That's not bad at all. Might go if that's still happening this weekend.

I know a lot of times it's 50 plus even at the beginning and end with nothing really happening and a million in the season. $25 to snowboard? fuck yeah. If not I'm not that worried winter is almost here.

yeah i planned on making a day trip from CT this weekend, anyone know if they will have more features in by the weekend?

direct quote from a few lines above where you read that it was $80..."EARLY / LATE SEASON TICKET RATESFrom opening day through December 13, 2013 and April 7, 2014 through closing day, lift ticket rates will vary based on open terrain and conditions. Our Conditions Report is updated daily with current rates, open base areas, conditions and more."

As of this past weekend at least, adult tickets were on sale for $50, so only $25 with the two for one voucher.

Yeah they were blowing right thru til last run and looks like it will be around clock. The snow was soft and great.. I would guess a few more trails will open soon on the top half of the mountain. Killi was going hard blowing snow...

Was there yesterday and had a blast. Soft snow and plenty of runs to warm up for the season. Plus 2 for 1..def making it up again preseason STAT

I'm hoping to go this weekend but yeah it's been fucking pouring everywhere.

Hopefuly it dries up nice and the sun stays out tomorrow. I need some snow right about now.
