Is jon olsson having a comp over in the US?

i had rumors about if Jon olsson is going to have one of his comps over here in the US. is this true?
 
Another one? Or are you just talking about the North American Open?

But I think he is trying to get a world tour type thing going too...
 
he said in one of his VB edits that he was planning on having the next JOI before christmas THIS year, maybe he's planning on doing that in the us?
 
Why the hell would they ruin JOSS with New York?

JK, but how is there enough snow to build that big of jumps, they will have to blow it for years....
 
JOI and JOSS is two totally different competetions..

The next JOI (Jon Olsson Invitational) will eventually be in NY.

JOSS (Jon Olsson Super Session) however is a film/slideshow competition. If you havent lived in a cave for the last months I don't think I'll have to explain the format for this comp any further..

A JOSS comp in NY.. Damn, with a city jump like that, Imagine the footage that would come out of it, it would be amazing! Something truely epic. Not to mention the possibillities, and the variety. That is something I would like to see!
 
I heard its in NY because the their having the olympics and Jon wants to promote Freestyle skiing

again just rumors
 
Never Mind i should have checked they were bidding for the 2012 but lost it to london.

so they could be trying for the 2014 olympics but who knows
 
Upstate NY or NY city? If its in the city i pray its legit. The california set up was dope but average at best

You mean Icer Air??? the jump was ridiculous this year, everybody landing mid tranny, jump perfect. That was definitely above average for a warm weather setup.
 
ny would b sick, with all the urban shots and what not. if there was snow on the ground. and big city with snow would b dope.
