It only pisses me off when people put themselves on pedestals because they think they've figured it all out, that my beliefs are "retarded." Being an atheist/agnostic/whatever else doesn't make you any smarter, more insightful, or in any way better than the rest--so when you act like it does, it just makes you look like a condescending douchebag. If you are atheist, agnostic, or anything else, that is fine. Good for you, you have taken your own stand and can maintain your own beliefs about the universe. But it doesn't make your way right, or anyone else's way wrong. I don't know if I'm right either--they are just beliefs.

so i went to church with my girlfriends family the other day and i got baked before going because i find it more interesting that way. and i thought about, what if some dude wrote the bible, for either entertainment or profit. To invoke fear in people which then paid to be apart of what he was writing about to be "safe". i find it hard to believe in it all. Especially how corrupt Catholicism was at some points. food for thought. However i believe everyone should take of it what they wish.
