Is it worth bringing on an Airplane...

So after I moved out to Park City again for the winter I got there and couldn’t find my nugget grinder in any of my stuff. Today I flew back to Pittsburgh and the first thing I saw when I came into my room at home was the grinder. If I clean it out well and put it in my checked baggage do you think that I would run into any problems...any suggestions on how to clean it very well would helpful…
 
if you clean it out real well so it doesn't have any weed in it, it's legal, so it's no big deal. they might check it to see if it's a bomb, but they can't do much other than that
 
boiling pieces, grinders, etc. in vinegar cleans out the smell and cleans ur shit too. try that and wrap it in a sweatshirt in ur checked baggage.
 
Yea man, as long as you clean it real good itd be fine. Just say its a present for you grandmother to grind spices. They might no believe you but what are they gonna do? Clean it real good though, with bleach and shit, lol.
 
If its not full of weed its legit, they sell most of those grinders as tobacco grinders anyway.
 
its near impossible to clean all the resin if they wanted to they could trace it

just baggy it nice and clean it nice
 
^ ya i think that it would be hard to clean it out totaly...mabey I will just send it USPS or something its probaly not worth it to bring on the plane...
 
put it in a pant pocket in your luggage thats what i did with my pipe that had resin in it and nothing happened.
 
i would just ship it to yourself. they never check what you're sending when you ship stuff. it's worth the 8-12 dollars to be safe
 
you're not even crossing a border. i brought a throwing star in my checked baggage no one cared. you're all overreacting. just clean it out and ziplock with the some coffee grounds in the same bag. thats it.
 
yeah just clean it well, or grind up some other legal herbs or spices to mask it, because after all, when you buy them they are called "herb/plant grinders" not "stickydank nugget grinders so you can roll that fatty bliz".

on a side note, my buddy just took a quarter of some funky nugs from denver to dallas to cincinnati in a shampoo bottle in his checked luggage. it was pretty funny tho they lost his baggage so he was freakin out didn't get it back til the day after he got home, but sure enough the buds were in there.
 
put it in a checked bag... so you don't have to stand there all awkward like while they look through it. TSA is more concerned with explosives. Think they will hold up 100s of peoples luggage just to inspect your paraphernalia for resin so they can fill out a police report? Not likely, especially during high traffic times. Be more concerned that you ski over a bomb-hole and get gun powder residue on your skis...
